There’s a funding gap for sustainability startups right when they’re they getting started and need it the most. This capital shortfall is not due to a lack of available and willing capital, but rather to network disconnects between the startups and those sources of capital that are most appropriate for them.
Some startups may need additional grant dollars from government or foundation sources, some may need a little acceleration or incubation to get off the ground, and some may be ready for institutional venture dollars. Our mission is to bridge these network chasms in order to close the funding gap so we can stay below our two degree global average temperature rise.
We’re building a network of startups, investors, accelerators, researchers, and government agencies to connect the sustainability innovations with the sources of capital and support that will help it get to market.
